Clifton Woolshed is at Clifton, Locksley, in the Central West of NSW. We're about 20 minutes from Bathurst and under three hours from Sydney.

Up to 130 guests. There are no minimum guest numbers, so our packages suit everything from an intimate elopement to a full 130-guest celebration.

We have three packages: Weekend weddings (Friday and Saturday) from $16,500, Mid-Week weddings (Wednesday) from $11,500, and Elopements (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) from $5,000. Prices shown are 2027 rates. See Our Packages for everything that's included.

Friday and Saturday weddings: amplified music until 11:00pm, and the venue closes at 11:30pm. Wednesday weddings: amplified music until 10:00pm, and the venue closes at 10:30pm. Elopements finish at 8:00pm.

We have a wet-weather option for every wedding. Smaller wedding parties can hold the ceremony on the back verandah, and larger groups move inside the Woolshed. We also have clear umbrellas on hand if you need them.

Yes. Weekend and Mid-Week packages include two nights in Clifton's Quarters, our 1828 convict-built accommodation. The bride and bridesmaids stay the night before to get ready together, and the quarters are yours as newlyweds on the wedding night. Elopements include one night for the couple. Extra nights can be added at an additional charge, subject to availability.

Most guests stay in Bathurst, about 20 minutes away, and the wedding bus picks up opposite the Court House. Popular motels include Country Lodge Motor Inn, Coachman's Inn Bathurst and Bathurst Explorers Motel. For something closer to the venue, Flat Rock Retreat in the O'Connell Valley sleeps up to 10.

Yes, you can book our wedding bus for your guests. It picks up opposite the Bathurst Court House and leaves one hour before the ceremony, then brings everyone back to the Court House at the end of the night.

Catering is outsourced, so you can bring your own licensed caterer or choose from our preferred vendor list. A $300 bond applies for caterers who aren't on our preferred list.

No. Alcohol is served under our liquor licence, so BYO alcohol isn't permitted on site. We offer a range of beverage packages, and we're happy to talk you through the options.

Yes. Clifton Wedding Coordination is included with venue hire (valued at $2,200), and two dedicated coordinators look after you on the day. If you'd like more help, Clifton Planning Plus ($1,500) and Clifton Wedding Concierge (from $3,500) can take care of the finer details for you.

Yes. We have our own collection of styling pieces, and styling packages are available at an additional cost. Ask us what's available for your day.

Yes, as long as it's biodegradable.

Yes, outdoors only and weather permitting.

Yes, by prior arrangement and for the ceremony only. Pets must be on a lead at all times and taken off the property straight after the ceremony.
